High Quality for Food Lovers
The food was incredible. They served a dinner for a large group that was done with such finesse. I mean, you know how hard it is to cater for that many folks, but they nailed it despite the chaos. The staff? Super friendly, knew their stuff, which only added to the whole experience.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but it was worthwhile in the end.

Exceptional Service and Comfort for Families
Our family enjoyed a peaceful stay with ample space in the room. The staff helped make everything smooth, especially for our little ones. The on-site restaurant surprised us with delicious meals, perfect after a long day exploring. Pro tip, Request a ground-floor room for easy access!

Request a room away from the shared wall for a quieter experience, as some rooms are less soundproof than others.

Comfortable room, attentive staff, with a well-equipped fitness centre and an amazing breakfast selection made our stay incredibly enjoyable, especially the delightful indoor heated swimming pool that we utilized almost daily.
No room for improvement.

The staff was just fantastic, always so helpful and friendly. we loved the outdoor pool, it was so nice to swim in! we ended up eating at the hotel every night cause the food was that good.
the wifi was kinda spotty at times and the bathroom could use a little update.

Our family had an awesome time at the hotel! The indoor pool was perfect for the kids, especially since the weather was a bit chilly. We also loved exploring North Devon's famous Tarka Trail for some exciting family cycling. Plus, the game room kept the little ones busy with foosball and air hockey. It was great to unwind after days filled with beach adventures.
In my wife’s opinion, the dining options could be improved for little ones. A kid-friendly menu would really enhance the experience.

I had a fantastic stay at The Barnstaple. The staff welcomed me warmly right from check-in. My room, a Double or Twin Room Garden View, was clean and comfortable. The bed was cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I loved the powerful shower too. The outdoor pool looked inviting, though it tended to get crowded. I missed having breakfast included in the room rate because the menu prices looked high. The hotel's location, while not right in the center of town, offered a pleasant walk along the Tarka Trail. A downside was the absence of a lift to upper floors, which made it difficult with mobility issues to access their rooms. Noise levels could also be bothersome, especially with doors slamming in the corridor.

The hotel offered a lovely stay with friendly staff and great pools. The room was spacious and clean, though the location was a bit odd, next to an industrial estate. Dining was mostly good, but I wish the bar menu had more options. a good experience.
